Terms of Service
Last updated 28 October 2026
The short version
- InterviewPro is run by Interview Pro Limited, a UK company. Paddle sells our subscriptions and handles payments, tax and refunds as our reseller.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- You can get a full refund within 14 days of any payment. See our Refund Policy.
- Your interviews and everything made from them belong to you. We don't use them to train AI.
- You need the right to use the footage you edit, and the consent of the people in it.
- AI results can be wrong. Check them before you publish anything.
This summary is for convenience. The full terms below are what apply.
1. Who we are
InterviewPro is provided by INTERVIEW PRO LIMITED ("InterviewPro", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17416928. Our registered office is:
Interview Pro Limited
71–75 Shelton Street
Covent Garden
London
WC2H 9JQ
United Kingdom
You can contact us at support@useinterviewpro.com.
These terms cover the InterviewPro extension for Adobe Premiere Pro, our website at www.useinterviewpro.com, and the online services they connect to (together, the "Service"). You accept these terms when you create an account, start a trial or buy a subscription. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm that you're allowed to accept these terms for it, and "you" includes that organisation.
2. Our reseller, Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
When you buy from us, you also agree to Paddle's buyer terms. For help with the product itself, contact us at support@useinterviewpro.com.
3. Your account
- You must be 18 or over to use the Service.
- Give us accurate details and keep your password secure. You're responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- Each account is for one person, unless we've agreed otherwise in writing. Don't share your sign-in details or activation key.
- An activation key works once, and may only work with the email address it was issued for.
4. Free trial
- We may offer a free trial. Its length and what happens when it ends are shown before you start.
- If you gave payment details to start the trial, your subscription starts when the trial ends and Paddle charges you, unless you cancel before then.
- There's one free trial per person or organisation.
- We can change or withdraw trial offers at any time. That doesn't affect a trial you've already started.
5. Plans, payment and renewal
- Our plans, prices and allowances are shown on our website when you buy. Paddle adds any VAT or sales tax that applies at checkout.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly, depending on what you choose. They renew automatically at the end of each billing period, and Paddle charges your payment method, until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time using the link in your Paddle receipt email, at paddle.net, or by emailing us. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- If you change plan, the price, and any credit or extra charge for the change, are shown before you confirm.
- If we change the price of your plan, we'll tell you at least 30 days before the new price applies. It applies from your next renewal after that notice, and you can cancel before then.
- If a payment fails, Paddle may try again. We may pause paid features until the payment goes through.
6. Allowances
- Each plan includes monthly allowances, such as hours of transcription and numbers of AI edits and searches. These are shown on our website.
- Your allowances reset every month on your billing date, which is the day of the month your paid subscription began. For example, if it began on 15 March, they reset on the 15th of each month. If a month has no such day, they reset on its last day, so a subscription that began on 31 January resets on 28 February (29 in a leap year). This applies to yearly plans too.
- Unused allowance doesn't carry over to the next month.
- A transcription that starts within your allowance is always allowed to finish, even if it takes you slightly over.
- We may set reasonable limits to protect the Service, for example on how many requests can be made per minute.
7. Refunds
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of any payment. Our Refund Policy explains how. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
8. Your content
"Your Content" means the audio, video, transcripts, text and other material you process with the Service. It also includes the results the Service produces for you, such as transcripts, Q&A indexes, edits, clip selections and sequences.
- You own Your Content. We don't claim any rights to it.
- You allow us to process Your Content only to provide the Service to you, to keep it secure, and to comply with the law. This includes sending it to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy.
- We don't use Your Content to train AI models. Our transcription and AI providers don't use it to train theirs under the terms we use them on.
- Our servers don't keep your interviews. Transcripts are saved on your computer, and our transcription provider deletes its copy once your extension has saved the transcript. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
- Because we don't keep a copy, we can't recover a transcript that's deleted or lost from your computer. Keep your own backups.
Where Your Content includes other people's personal data, such as the people you interview, we process it on your behalf and only on your instructions. Section 9 of our Privacy Policy sets out how. Those commitments form part of these terms.
9. Your responsibilities for content
You're responsible for Your Content. You confirm that:
- you own it, or have all the rights, licences and permissions you need to process it with the Service;
- the people who appear in it, including anyone you interview, have given any consent the law requires, or you have another lawful basis for processing their personal data, and you've told them what data protection law requires you to tell them;
- processing it with the Service doesn't break any law, contract or duty of confidence, such as a non-disclosure agreement with your client.
Don't process material that's unlawful or that you have no right to use. Never process material that sexually exploits children. We'll report it to the authorities.
10. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, or to harass, defame or harm anyone;
- edit someone's words to misrepresent what they said, in order to deceive, defame or harm them;
- share, sell or resell access to the Service, or let anyone else use your account;
- try to get around usage limits, trial restrictions, licence checks or security measures;
- copy, modify, reverse engineer or decompile the extension or the Service, except where the law allows it;
- interfere with or overload the Service, or access it by any automated means other than the extension;
- upload viruses or other malicious code;
- use the Service to build a competing product.
If we reasonably think you've broken these rules, we may investigate and take action under section 15.
11. AI and transcription results
- Results are produced automatically by software and AI models, and they can be wrong or incomplete. Transcripts can contain mistakes. Speakers can be labelled wrongly. Timecodes can be slightly off. Suggested edits can take words out of context.
- Check results before you rely on them or publish anything made with them. The final edit is your responsibility.
- Results aren't legal, editorial or other professional advice.
12. Our software
- We and our licensors own the Service and the extension, apart from Your Content.
- While your account is active and you keep to these terms, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence. It lets you install the extension on your own computers and use the Service for your own work, including work for your clients.
- If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely, with no obligation to you.
- Adobe Premiere Pro is a product of Adobe Inc. InterviewPro isn't made, endorsed or supported by Adobe, and you need your own Premiere Pro licence. The extension currently runs on macOS.
- We work to keep the extension compatible with new versions of Premiere Pro, but Adobe's changes are outside our control, so we can't promise it will work with every version. If a change by Adobe means we can no longer provide the extension, and we can't offer you an alternative, we'll refund the unused part of any subscription you've paid for in advance.
13. Copyright complaints
We don't publish Your Content or make it available to anyone else. Even so, if you believe the Service is being used to infringe your copyright or other rights, email support@useinterviewpro.com. Include:
- your name and contact details;
- the work you believe is being infringed;
- the material or use you're complaining about, and why it infringes;
- a statement that the information is accurate and that you're the rights holder or are authorised to act for them.
We'll review every valid complaint. We may suspend the accounts involved, and we'll close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe other people's rights.
14. Availability and changes to the Service
- We work to keep the Service available, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may need to pause it for maintenance, and it relies on outside providers that can have outages of their own.
- We improve and change the Service over time. If a change significantly reduces what you've paid for, we'll tell you in advance. You can then cancel and get a refund for the unused part of any period you've paid for in advance.
15. Suspension and closing accounts
- You can stop using the Service and cancel at any time (see section 5). To close your account completely and have your data deleted, email us.
- We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if you don't pay, if your use could cause harm or legal liability, or if the law requires it. Where it's reasonable, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to put things right.
- If we close your account when you're not at fault, we'll refund the unused part of any period you've paid for in advance.
- When your account closes, your licence to use the extension ends and you should uninstall it. Transcripts saved on your computer stay yours. We delete your account data as our Privacy Policy describes.
16. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
If you're a consumer
You're a consumer if you use the Service mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession. We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that's a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or not using reasonable care and skill. We aren't responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable. Because the Service is a professional editing tool, we aren't responsible for business losses such as lost profit, business or opportunities. The law gives you rights when digital content or services are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.
If you're a business
- Except as these terms expressly say, and as far as the law allows, we give no other promises about the Service.
- We aren't liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
- Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of £100 and the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
Your projects
The extension adds sequences, bins, subclips and markers to your Premiere Pro project. It doesn't delete your media. Save and back up your project before you use it, as you would with any tool that changes a project.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the Service or the law changes. If a change materially affects you, we'll tell you by email or in the extension at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don't agree to the change, you can cancel before it takes effect. If you've paid in advance and the change is significantly to your disadvantage, we'll refund the unused part. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
18. General
- These terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
- We may transfer our rights and obligations to another organisation, for example if our business is sold. That won't reduce your rights. You need our written consent to transfer yours.
- If a court decides that part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- No one else has any right to enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute. If you're a consumer who lives in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings there. If you're a consumer who lives elsewhere, you keep any protections the law of your country gives you that can't be removed by agreement.
